April 27th 2017 Bike Party

► This Friday, April 28th Bike Party Davis will be hosting their first spring Bike Party! Riders will begin congregating at Ken’s Bike-Ski-Board at 7pm, with the ride kicking off at 8pm sharp! Bring your bike, your bike lights, and your biking friends! The ride will end at Zuma Poke, which will be offering a 10% discount to Bike Party participants.

You can find out more info on their Facebook Event.

Bike Party Davis is also currently seeking volunteers to help with traffic coordination and safety! Please contact Bike Party Davis via their Facebook Event. The DBC is not the organizer of this event and we won’t be able to sign you up as a volunteer! Sorry!

Photo from The Aggie► Tuesday May 2nd and Tuesday May 16th are each a WTF Night! Any person who identifies as a Woman, as Trans, or as a Femme are invited to attend WTF! The shop will be open from 5 to 8pm for repairs, lessons, and socializing. The Collective is committed to providing resources and space to historically marginalized groups. Feel free to bring your friends to attend WTF Night with you!

You can read more about WTF Night in The Aggie.

As WTF night occurs on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month there will not be a WTF night on May 30th. Thanks for your understanding!

► On Sunday, May 7th we will be holding a monthly Sunday Service. Sunday Service is where we service our repair shop, put together and tear down bikes, and generally clean and spiffy the place up so it will be the most useful and nice for the community to perform their repairs and builds in!

To clarify, the shop is not open for regular use during Sunday Service. While we can still accept donations on Sunday the 7th, we will not be able to make sales or have space for patrons to repair their bikes. Thanks for your understanding!

Sunday Services often include BBQ and drinks for volunteers! So bring your elbow-grease, your appetite, and a potluck dish to share!
